Merriewold at Highland Park Cuts Ribbon, Opens Doors to Community

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in October for The Merriewold at Highland Park, a 196-unit luxury apartment complex situated on a bluff overlooking Johnson Park and the Raritan River. The 17 acre development blends architecturally with the historic Merriewold Castle, built by Seward Johnson, son of Johnson and Johnson’s co-founder, Robert Wood Johnson.

One, two and three bedroom rentals are available with private garages and controlled access parking. The community is pet friendly, and includes a central clubhouse and hospitality area.  Outdoor elements include a resort style pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and tot lot. The completed project will incorporate additional recreation and exterior gathering spaces.

Menlo provided civil engineering and landscape architectural services for Merriewold at Highland Park.
