Montgomery Township Celebrates New Walking Path with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Menlo Engineering was excited to join Montgomery Township officials on July 9, 2021 for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Skillman Road walking path.

The 2 mile long, 6 foot-wide, pedestrian pathway extends along Skillman Road from Route 601 to Burnt Hill Road and then south along Burnt Hill Road to the Main Boulevard entrance to Skillman Park.

The trail connects township schools and provides safe crossings between neighborhoods and parks.  The Township also partnered with the Rutgers Center for Advance Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) to include innovative and experimental stormwater management features for the project.

Congratulations to Montgomery Township on a successful project!  Menlo Engineering is proud to be part of the design team.
